Certified Kentucky Music Friendly Communities
After working through the process with the Governor’s Office of Music, there will be a joint announcement with the Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet, which administers the Governor’s Office of Music, publicizing the city or county as a Kentucky Music Friendly Community.
This designation encourages local communities to share resources, increase opportunities for Kentucky artists and businesses, make a public commitment to supporting and growing music in the community, and bring together all facets of the music industry – artists, venues, festivals, and related businesses.
Once a city or county is designated as a Certified Kentucky Music Friendly Community, they will be noted on this page.
