Arts Access Assistance Grant, Kentucky Arts Council:
Arts Access Assistance (AAA) supports arts programming for underserved populations, with a specific, timely theme that changes with each grant cycle. The Kentucky Arts Council is currently accepting AAA proposals for $2,500 or $5,000 that incorporate arts-based strategies to enhance the overall health and well-being of individuals and communities in the commonwealth.
The Kentucky Arts Rising (KAR) Grant, Kentucky Arts Council:
The Kentucky Arts Rising (KAR) grant program provides $1,500 to Kentucky-based arts and cultural organizations with an average annual revenue of less than $100,000 whose primary mission is to provide Kentuckians with year-round arts programming.
Kentucky Arts Partnership (KAP) Grant, Kentucky Arts Council:
The Kentucky Arts Partnership (KAP) grant program provides support to Kentucky-based arts and cultural organizations with an average annual revenue of $100,000 or more whose primary mission is to provide Kentuckians with year-round arts programming.
Kentucky Touring Grant, Kentucky Arts Council:
The Kentucky Touring Grant is a matching grant that helps make quality public performances available to the people of the commonwealth. This program provides presenters with support to book dance, music, theatre, and storytelling performers from the Kentucky Arts Council Performing Artists Directory. Gov. Beshear announced the latest round of grants on Aug. 13, 2026, with more than $51,000 going to 15 nonprofit organizations.
The Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Grant, Kentucky Arts Council:
The Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Grant provides up to $4,000 for a Kentucky mentor traditional artist to teach skills, practices and culture to a less experienced artist from the same community during a year.
Tourism, Arts & Heritage Marketing Sponsorship, Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet:
The Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet is committed to fostering and promoting the state’s rich heritage, reinforcing Kentucky’s longstanding reputation as a premier, hospitable travel destination. Our mission is to enhance the promotion and development of tourism, arts and cultural heritage in the commonwealth, stimulating economic growth, education and employment opportunities across our communities. To support this mission, the Cabinet offers promotional sponsorships that align with our objectives. Sponsorships must be in accordance with KRS 142.406. Funding shall be used exclusively for marketing and promoting tourism in Kentucky.
National Endowment for the Arts Grants:
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is the only arts funder in the United States—public or private—that provides access to the arts in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. jurisdictions. Their work extends into communities of all sizes across America through a vast network that includes artists, arts workers, audiences, learners, and organizations at the local, state-wide, regional, and national levels.
